When you first click on the “Cage Card” option on the left-hand drop-down menu, there will be up to 4 templates for you to use. These templates can be customized to show the information you want. You can also add or delete templates as needed. A cage card is printed out and used on the outside of the rabbit’s cage to help identify them to you or others who also help you in your barn.

Click on the drop-down arrow icon on the far left of the card template. There you will see the option to edit the template.

The top section of the template editor list basic information.

Name - The name of the template. This only shows on the list of templates and not on the final printed cage card.

Type - There are two types of cage cards: “Breeder” and “Litter”

Breeder is for a single rabbit (Buck or Doe) who have not yet had litters.

Litter is used when a Breeder doe has a litter. This option has extra functions that will help you keep track of your litters when out at the rabbitry.

Size - This will determine the size of your cage card to fit any sized cage-card holder.

Orientation - This will determine if your printed cage cards are vertical or horizontal.

Hole - Clicking “yes” to this option will provide a space where you can cleanly cut a hangable hole in your finished and printed cage cards.

The bottom section of the template editor will allow you to edit the look of the card. Depending on your card’s size and orientation will allow you to add more options if you would like too.

Each option can be filled with a different category depending on your needs.

Once you are happy with your edits, you can preview them by clicking the "Preview" button. When you are satisfied with the preview, click "Save" then your new template will appear in the template list.

Note: aspects like the Everbreed logo and the QR code can not be removed.
