How to use the Financing Ledger
Keeping track of your finances is helpful for small-scale breeders and absolutely necessary for rabbitries that work as a business. With Everbreed, most of the work is done for you, all you have to do is enter the numbers! If it is available on your plan, you will see “Finances” in the menu on the left (web) or within the “More…” menu (mobile).
At the top of your Ledger is a general view of your Finances. You will see your overall income and expenses as well as your income and expenses per breeder.
Beneath these statistics, you can search your Ledger for specific transactions and sort your Ledger by a date range. This way, you can easily see how much your rabbitry is earning and spending within a given time frame (Year, Month, Week, etc).
Note: If you need to change your currency from USD, you can do so on the Settings page.
Web - Select “Finances” from the menu on the left. Then click “Add New” in the top left.
Mobile - Click “More…” from the menu at the bottom. Select ‘Ledger”. Then click the green “+” sign in the bottom right and choose whether you are adding an income or expense.
Here you can enter the Date, Name (description), Category (ex: Feed, Supplies, Breeder Sale, etc), Amount, Contact, Notes, and add a photo of the receipt. Any transactions with a receipt attached will show a paperclip icon next to the transaction.
If you do not know how to use the Contact List you can learn how to do so HERE.
To edit or delete a Ledger entry select the ellipses next to the entry (web) or swipe left on the entry (mobile).
When you sell a rabbit in Everbreed the transaction will automatically be noted in your Ledger. If you specify a Contact, that Contact will also be attached to the transaction.
