Using the Genetic Predictor

You can use the genetic predictor to get an idea of the kit colors possible from specific pairs. As long as you have genetic codes entered for the Breeders, you can predict any pairing.

Web Version

From The Breeders Page

• Select “Breeders” from the menu on the left.
• Along the top there is a button labeled “Predict”.

• Here, you can choose the Buck and Doe that you want to Predict from. In order to Predict, both rabbits will need Genotypes entered in their Breeder Profile.

• When you have selected a Buck and Doe, the Genetic Color Predictions will appear below.

While Creating a Breed Plan

• Go the Schedule page and head to the Breed Plan Tab

• Click “Add New Plan” at the top of the Dashboard.

• Then, choose the Buck and the Doe that you want to see the predictions from.

• Next, select “Predict” in the upper right corner.
• Here, you can see the genetic predictions from your selected pairing.

• Select “Breeders” from the menu at the bottom.
• Click the “+” sign in the bottom right and select “Predict”.

• Here, you can choose the Buck and Doe that you want to predict from. The Predictions will automatically appear below.
