How do I import pedigrees from other Everbreed users?

Everbreed makes sharing and transferring pedigrees easy.
If you are selling a rabbit to another Everbreed user the pedigree will automatically transfer if you enter the other user’s email. You can learn how to do that HERE.

Rabbits can also be imported from a link. The link can be found on the printed pedigree of PDF if the original owner has not shared the link.

If the original owner has not sold the rabbit to you through Everbreed, the next best way to input the pedigree is for the original owner to share the pedigree link.
Instructions for sharing an Everbreed pedigree link can be found HERE.

Printed Pedigree or PDF

On a printed pedigree or PDF you will find the link in the lower left corner. There is also a QR code which can be scanned. This will open a browser window where the link can be copied so you don't have to type it in.
In the mobile app, you can find your QR scanner by selecting “More…” from the menu on the bottom and then clicking “QR Scanner” within the “Other Menu” section.

Once you have obtained the link to your new rabbit’s pedigree, the next step is to import it into the rabbit’s Breeder Profile. You will need to create a Breeder Profile for the new rabbit before importing the pedigree.

Web Version

Open the breeder’s profile and select “Pedigree” from the menu at the top.
Then click “Import” in the top left and select “From Everbreed link”.

Paste or type in the link and click the green “Import” button.

Mobile Version

Open the breeder’s profile and select “Pedigree” from the menu at the top.
Then select the ellipses(...) in the top right.
Click “Import from Everbreed link” and paste or type in the link.

Select “Import” and then click the green “Save” button in the upper right.
